ON THE ROAD ... by train, plane, car or bus

Like almost everything in Florida you can reach Clearwater Beach by every means of transportation.

... by car
The car ride to Clearwater is very easy and pleasurable thanks to the fully developed road network. From Tampa, drive on Interstate 275 South, take the exit Tampa International Airport / Clearwater / State Road 60 and follow State Road 60 West according to the Clearwater signs across the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Once you have crossed the Causeway, you are in Clearwater. Stay on State Road 60 (called Gulf to Bay now) until you reach the Gulf of Mexico and Clearwater Beach.	Enhance Map

Getting to Clearwater by train is also quite simple. One of the main railroads goes directly to St. Petersburg (Station Code STP), thereafter there's only a short trip with the bus to Clearwater Beach. More detailed information on schedules and prices can be found at Amtrak.

Florida offers both international and national airports. The airport nearest to Clearwater is St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport.

... by bus
